You can take the Subway Line 5 to Gwanghwamun Station and then exit 5. Another way is you can take the Seoul Subway Line 1 or 2 to City Hall Station and then exit 4.

Both stations are near to Cheonggye Plaza which is the beginning point of Cheonggyecheon Stream. But Gwanghwamun Station is nearer to Cheonggye Plaza compared to City Hall Station.

Other than this, you may ride the Subway Line 1 to Jonggak Station and then exit 5. This station is near to the stream but not the beginning point of the stream. So it is required 8 minutes walk to the beginning point of the stream.

When you come out from the Gwanghwamun Station Exit 5, the light brown building will be on your left-hand side and DUTY FREE building on your right. Then, take a left when you pass the light brown building on your left.

Step 2 Walk to Cheonggyecheon Stream from Gwanghwamun Station

After turned left, you will see a KB Building on the left side which is a tall building with light green color glasses. There is a light brown tall building named as Premier Place on the right side. Additionally, you will see 7 Eleven convenient shop at the downstairs of Premier Place building.

Keep going down the road you will see a Patisserie Cafe on the left and opposite of Patisserie Cafe is Tom N Toms Coffee. When you reach Patisserie Cafe, you will see the starting point of Cheonggyecheon Stream just at the right of Patisserie Cafe.

So, you can walk down the stream through the staircase.

After Step out from Jonggak Station Exit 5, there is a Bank of China on the right and color of the building is brown. Meanwhile, you will see the World Cafe in the opposite road.
